Football countdown!
I have wangled an invitation from my upstairs neighbors, two Tanzanians working here for the year, to go with them to a sports bar in Kisamenti to see the football tonight. They have promised to explain what is going on. I shall report.
Avid obituary reader, amateur gardener, undercover Episcopal priest, desultory baseball fan, high-falutin' tea drinker, and full-time pet owner. I am also the Managing Director of Confirm not Conform. In 2008, I worked as a Kiva Fellow in Kampala, Uganda, an experience that only increased a long-held interest I had in Africa and effective aid, reflected in these posts.
